Education & Experience:

Alan P. Gustafson, Jr. is a civil litigator with extensive experience in insurance-related litigation, construction law, commercial litigation and community association law. Prior to joining Buckley Law Group, Alan represented contractors and developers in the construction law, government contract and environmental law fields. Before that, he served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Tenth Judicial Circuit where he argued motions, conducted depositions and participated in over twenty-five jury and bench trials in both misdemeanor and felony level criminal cases.

Alan received his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 2007. In law school, he was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity and received a book award in Federal Income Tax.

Alan received his Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude with departmental honors, from Wittenberg University in 2004. While in college, Alan was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a National Academic Honor Society, and Chi Alpha Sigma, a National College Athletic Honor Society. He was also a member of Wittenberg University's track and cross country teams.

Bar Admissions & Professional Memberships:

Alan's professional memberships include The Florida Bar, in which he is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections, and the Construction Law Committee. Alan is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
